England head coach Thomas Tuchel has opened up about his squad selection for the upcoming World Cup. The manager stressed that his priority was to build the best possible collective rather than simply selecting the 26 most talented individual players.

The squad is scheduled to gather in Miami on June 1 for a training camp designed to prepare them for the tournament's late stages in demanding heat and humidity. England will also play friendly matches against New Zealand on June 6 and Costa Rica on June 10 before heading to their main base camp in Kansas City.
