Midfielder Taras Stepanenko has reached a significant career milestone. By making his 375th appearance in the Ukrainian Premier League, he has drawn level with Ruslan Rotan, moving into a shared sixth place on the all-time UPL appearance list.
Throughout his career, Stepanenko has made 289 appearances for Shakhtar, 81 for Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, and 5 for Kolos.
Beyond his league tally, Stepanenko has now reached 528 official matches for Ukrainian clubs across all competitions, equalling the record held by Andriy Pyatov. Since the country's independence, only Oleksandr Shovkovskyi and Darijo Srna have made more appearances.
