Svensson: We must honestly say that Polissya was better overall

Copenhagen head coach Bo Svensson addressed the media following his team's 2-1 victory in the return leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League against Polissya. The result secured the Danish side's progression to the next stage of the tournament.

The Danish manager praised the organization and quality shown by the Ukrainian club throughout the tie. Despite the challenges, which included playing a significant portion of the match with ten men, Svensson noted the resilience of his squad.

«Everyone saw now that the team we are playing against is not that bad. We tried to do the right things, but they are very well-organized and make very few mistakes. It is not the football we want to play, but the main thing is to go through,» Svensson stated.

The coach acknowledged that his team needs to improve, but emphasized that reaching the next round was vital for the club's European ambitions.
