Stale Solbakken holds crunch Man City summit with Enzo Maresca over Erling Haaland

Norway head coach Stale Solbakken visited Manchester City's training base for a private meeting with manager Enzo Maresca. The session, which lasted 20 minutes, focused on the welfare and availability of star striker Erling Haaland ahead of a demanding international period.

Solbakken expressed satisfaction with the meeting, noting the importance of building trust early in the new regime at the Etihad Stadium. The coach stated that there are currently no immediate plans for enforced rest for Haaland, but acknowledged that the heavy fixture list will require ongoing communication between the national team and club medical staff to prevent burnout.
