Bristol City forward Sinclair Armstrong has departed the Championship club to join Turkish side Goztepe for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old moves on after a stint at the Robins, where he arrived from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2024.
Armstrong has committed to a four-year contract at the Gursel Aksel Stadium, which includes an option to extend the deal by an additional 12 months. During his time in Bristol, he made 83 appearances and netted seven goals.
Everyone at Bristol City wishes Sinclair and everyone connected with him the best on the next stage of his football career. We will watch from afar the next stage of his development and thank him for his contribution in a City shirt. James Ellis, Bristol City sporting director
The move sees the Republic of Ireland international transition to the Turkish Super Lig, where Goztepe are looking to build on a sixth-place finish from last season. The club is owned by Sport Republic, the same group that holds a majority stake in Southampton.
