Shakhtar fined for fan behavior in Ukrainian Cup
The UAF Disciplinary Committee has fined the Donetsk club following the use of pyrotechnics by fans during their Ukrainian Cup match against Vilkhivtsi.

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the UAF has sanctioned Shakhtar following incidents during their recent Ukrainian Cup fixture. The club has been ordered to pay a mandatory financial penalty of 20,000 UAH.
The punishment stems from the conduct of supporters during the match against Vilkhivtsi, which took place on September 17, 2026. During the game, fans of the Donetsk side used pyrotechnic devices, violating stadium safety regulations.
This is part of a broader crackdown on such behavior by the UAF, which recently fined Dynamo Kyiv 160,000 UAH for a similar pyrotechnics incident during their match against Zorya.
