Serhiy Rebrov has emerged as a potential candidate for the head coach position at Slovan Bratislava. The club's CEO, Ivan Kmotrík Jr., confirmed that the Ukrainian tactician is being considered as one of the main options for the role.

The Slovak side is currently evaluating a shortlist of five names, which also includes Igor Bišćan, Yaya Touré, Valérien Ismaël, and Robbie Keane. The club aims to appoint a new manager shortly to ensure the team is ready for pre-season training, which is scheduled to begin on June 12. These preparations are vital as the club gears up for the upcoming Champions League qualification rounds.

For Slovan Bratislava, finding the right manager is essential as they look to defend their domestic title following their 27th championship victory. The squad currently features Ukrainian players Danylo Ihnatenko and Mykola Kukharevych.

Serhiy Rebrov is currently serving as a vice-president and Executive Committee member for the Ukrainian Association of Football. He had previously been linked with a potential move to the UAE side Al-Wahda.
