Serhiy Rebrov linked with Besiktas coaching role

Former Ukraine manager Serhiy Rebrov could be set for a return to management. Reports suggest that Turkish powerhouse Besiktas has identified the Ukrainian coach as a target for their vacant managerial position.

Besiktas sporting director Onder Ozen is currently leading efforts to persuade Rebrov to join the club. The coach has been without a team since April 22, when his tenure as the head of the Ukrainian national side officially came to an end.

Rebrov had been in charge of the national team since 2023, with his contract originally running until July 2026. Following his departure, the federation officially appointed Italian coach Andrea Maldera as the new manager on May 18.
