Former Shakhtar player Serhiy Kovalev has commented on Dynamo Kyiv's performance in the current UPL season. The expert described the club's fourth-place finish as a catastrophe, pointing to failures both domestically and in European competitions.
Despite the overall poor season, Kovalev identified a positive shift in the club's personnel policy following the appointment of Igor Kostyuk as head coach. He noted that under Kostyuk's leadership, the team has begun to integrate significantly more young academy prospects into the first team.
