York City have turned down a third offer from Heart of Midlothian for 24-year-old centre-back Malachi Fagan-Walcott. The League Two side previously rejected bids in the region of £500,000 plus add-ons.
Meanwhile, Celtic view this summer as the ideal window to cash in on midfielder Reo Hatate. The 28-year-old Japanese international fell down the pecking order in the final months of the season, and the club is ready to listen to offers. Celtic are also exploring another loan spell for right-back Julian Araujo, though they face competition from Monterrey and Cruz Azul.
Other transfer developments include:
Charlton Athletic have offered a new contract to Scotland striker Lyndon Dykes, though Millwall and Leicester City remain interested in the player.
Luca Stephenson has stated that his priority this summer is finding a permanent home after two seasons on loan from Liverpool to Dundee United. At the same time, Dundee are attempting to persuade 32-year-old defender Clark Robertson to sign a one-year contract extension, despite interest from clubs in the Middle East and India.
