The Scottish Professional Football League has confirmed a series of fixture changes across the Premiership, Championship, and League Cup to accommodate live television broadcasting. The schedule adjustments include the high-profile Fife derby between Dunfermline Athletic and Raith Rovers, which will now be broadcast live on BBC Scotland.
This derby match has been set for Friday, 28 August, with a 19:30 kick-off. In the Premiership, the Aberdeen versus Rangers fixture has been moved to Sunday, 30 August, starting at 12:00.
Meanwhile, the Motherwell against Falkirk game has been pushed back to 9 August to account for Motherwell's involvement in the Conference League qualifiers. The Scottish League Cup last-16 ties have been spread across three days from 14-16 August to minimize conflicts with teams involved in European competitions.
Furthermore, due to Ross County's progression in the League Cup, their League One fixture against Queen of the South has been moved to 15 September.
