Netherlands head coach Ronald Koeman has finalized his squad for the 2026 World Cup, with Liverpool defender Jeremie Frimpong notably absent from the list. The manager opted to select other candidates to fill his defensive options for the tournament.
Frimpong earned his international debut in 2023 and has since made 15 appearances for the national team, contributing one goal and two assists. However, his involvement in the World Cup qualifying campaign was significantly hampered by injuries, limiting him to just two appearances out of eight matches.
With this roster decision finalized, Frimpong will miss the upcoming tournament. The Netherlands are set to compete in Group F, where they will face Sweden, Japan, and Tunisia.
