Netherlands national team head coach Ronald Koeman shared his insights on the England squad during a press conference after announcing his team's World Cup roster. The manager expects the English side to prioritize set-pieces, such as corners and throw-ins, to manage player fatigue in challenging weather conditions.
«England will focus on corners and throw-ins. It requires the least amount of energy in hot conditions. That is exactly how Arsenal became champions. Without corners, they wouldn't have achieved it,» Koeman stated.
As a reminder, Arsenal recently became English champions for the first time in 22 years. The Gunners set a record by scoring 19 goals from corner kicks throughout the season.
