Roman Bezus signs with Cypriot club Spartakos Kitiou
35-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Roman Bezus will continue his career in the Cypriot second division after joining Spartakos Kitiou as a free agent.

Ukrainian midfielder Roman Bezus has officially joined the Cypriot club Spartakos Kitiou. The 35-year-old signed with the team as a free agent after his contract with his previous side, Anorthosis, expired this summer.
The parties agreed on a 1+1 deal, securing the veteran's services for at least the upcoming season. Spartakos Kitiou will be the third Cypriot club in Bezus's career, following his previous stints with Omonia and Anorthosis.
During the 2025/26 campaign, Bezus made 17 appearances and scored one goal for Anorthosis. His time in Cyprus has previously included a successful period with Omonia, where he won the Cypriot Cup and recorded 14 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions during the 2023/24 season.
Bezus brings significant experience to his new club, including 24 caps and 5 goals for the Ukraine national team. Throughout his club career, he has played for various teams including Kremin, Vorskla, Dynamo Kyiv, Dnipro, and Belgian sides Sint-Truiden and Gent.
