Roma in advanced talks for Fenerbahce defender
The Italian side is negotiating a season-long loan deal for Jayden Oosterwolde with a potential buyout clause.
Despite the fast-approaching start of the new Serie A season, Roma remains active in the transfer market. The latest target for the Giallorossi is Dutch full-back Jayden Oosterwolde, currently plying his trade for Turkish side Fenerbahce.
The 24-year-old is currently sidelined as he continues his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament tear sustained in October 2024. Due to his current physical condition, Roma is proceeding with caution, prioritizing a season-long loan structure.
The current proposal includes a potential purchase option set at 20 million euros, which would become mandatory upon the fulfillment of specific conditions. Both parties have exchanged their positions and are currently taking time to reflect on the terms.
During the previous campaign, Oosterwolde made 47 appearances, contributing one goal and one assist.
