Italy head coach Roberto Mancini has opted not to travel with his full squad for the upcoming match against France. Similar to his approach for the trip to Bursa, Mancini is prioritising preparation for the match against Turkey, scheduled for Monday, October 5, in Bologna.

Instead of joining the team in France, nine players will remain at the Coverciano training base to undergo a specialised training programme. The group includes Honest Ahanor, Nicolò Cambiaghi, Diego Coppola, Daniele Ghilardi, Samuele Inacio, Eddy Kouadio, Rolando Mandragora, Massimo Pessina, and Alessandro Romano.

These players will not participate in this morning's group training session. Instead, they are set to work this afternoon under the guidance of members of the coaching and performance staff, including Massimo Maccarone, Cristiano Lupatelli, Giulio Nuciari, and Luca Bossi.
