Roberto Firmino: Return to Anfield? If they call me, I'll be there

Roberto Firmino, who served as the heartbeat of Liverpool's attack for eight years, remains deeply connected to his former club. Speaking to The Athletic from Qatar, where he now plays for Al-Sadd, the Brazilian offered words of encouragement for current Liverpool forward Alexander Isak as he navigates the high expectations at the club.

"Alex needs to stay positive. All strikers go through difficult periods, but he has already proven he is one of the best forwards in the Premier League. He needs to just relax, and I'm sure the goals will come. Anfield is a special place, and if you always give everything for Liverpool, the fans will always be on your side," Firmino said.

The Brazilian forward, who recorded 111 goals in 362 matches for the Reds, reflected warmly on his era under Jurgen Klopp. He emphasized that the success of their famed attacking trio alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah stemmed from how their qualities perfectly complemented one another.

Firmino also confirmed he stays in touch with Klopp and expressed his happiness at the German's return to coaching with the German national team. Looking ahead, the 35-year-old remains committed to his career, but his heart clearly remains with his former home.
