Following the away league match against Santos Laguna, which ended in a 1-0 win for Chivas, midfielder Roberto Alvarado drew attention for his compassionate gesture. After the final whistle, the player went to the stands to meet with supporters who had gathered to watch the team in Torreón.
One fan was holding a sign explaining that she is currently undergoing chemotherapy and asking if the player could gift her his jersey. Alvarado responded to the request and personally handed her the white match-worn shirt he had used during the game.
