Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Richarlison, Kevin Danso, and Pape Matar Sarr have requested to leave the club.
The trio were excluded from the matchday squad for Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United. De Zerbi stated that he is willing to let them depart, provided they bring an acceptable financial solution to the club.
Richarlison, I don't know. He said too many times he wants to leave. Danso came to me two days ago and he said wants to leave and Pape Sarr the same, but he suffered a small injury. If they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go. Roberto De Zerbi
The development follows a difficult start to the Premier League season for Spurs, who sit at the bottom of the table after two losses and failing to score a goal. This comes despite a major summer investment of over £300m to bolster the squad.
Competition for places has increased significantly at the club, with new signings like Omar Marmoush already replacing Richarlison in the starting XI. Similarly, Danso and Sarr face limited opportunities following the arrival of multiple high-profile reinforcements in defence and midfield.
