In the coming days, representatives for Vinícius Júnior are scheduled to meet with Real Madrid leadership to discuss an extension for the Brazilian winger. According to Fabrizio Romano, both parties are keen to finalize negotiations that have been ongoing for over a year.

The 25-year-old's current deal expires next summer, meaning he will be eligible to hold formal talks with other clubs starting in January, adding urgency for the Madrid side.

The primary obstacle remains the financial terms. Vinícius' camp is reportedly seeking an annual salary of approximately 30 million euros, matching the level of Kylian Mbappé, along with a significant signing bonus. At this stage, Real Madrid is offering around 20 million euros per season.

Despite the differences, club president Florentino Pérez does not consider selling the player. The club views the Brazilian as a core member and a vital piece of the team's long-term project.
