Scottish side Rangers have bolstered their wide options with the signing of 20-year-old South Korean winger Kim Min-su from Girona for an undisclosed fee. The player has committed to a four-year contract, which includes an option for a further year.
Kim becomes the 12th new recruit for the Ibrox club this summer. Manager Derek McInnes highlighted the player's technical attributes and his enthusiasm for development, noting that forward-area reinforcements were a primary focus for the club throughout this window.
We are delighted to welcome Min-su to Rangers. Strengthening our options in the forward areas has been a real target and focus for us throughout this window and we believe he will add another exciting dimension to the squad. Derek McInnes
The winger spent last season on loan at second-tier side Andorra, where he contributed six goals and four assists in 40 appearances. Prior to his loan, he scored 19 goals in 84 matches for Girona B and made eight senior appearances for the Spanish club.
This arrival follows a period where the club pursued several wide targets, including players from PSV Eindhoven and Brighton, before finalizing the move for Kim. He will now look to integrate into the squad alongside other recent arrivals.
