Paris Saint-Germain will not yet be at full strength for Saturday's friendly against Manchester United at the Ullevi Stadion in Gothenburg (17:00). Luis Enrique remains without several French stars, including Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembele, and Warren Zaire-Emery, as well as Achraf Hakimi and Fabian Ruiz.
However, the manager will have some welcome returns. Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha, and Joao Neves, who resumed training on Monday, are expected to make the trip to Sweden and feature in the match.
New recruit Maghnes Akliouche, who arrived on Thursday, completed his first session with his new teammates on Friday. While he may be too short of fitness to start the friendly, he is expected to be included in the matchday squad. The midfielder is primarily targeting the UEFA Super Cup match against Aston Villa in Salzburg next Wednesday.
Several other players are also aiming to gain minutes in Sweden to prepare for the upcoming clash against the Villans. To bolster the squad, Luis Enrique has continued to involve young prospects, including Adam Ayari (18), Paul Bourdin (17), Younes Idder (18), and Axel Koukaba (16), who were present at the training sessions in Poissy on Friday.
