PSG closing in on deal for Aleksey Batrakov

French giants PSG are nearing an agreement to sign 20-year-old Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Aleksey Batrakov. The Parisian club is pushing hard to secure the player, outmaneuvering significant interest from English clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
PSG sporting director Luis Campos is personally overseeing the negotiations. Reports suggest the transfer fee will be approximately 25 million euros, with the club confident that the deal will be finalized within the next few days.
Should the move proceed, Batrakov would join goalkeeper Matvey Safonov as the second Russian player in the current PSG squad. The midfielder has enjoyed a productive season, contributing 12 goals and 17 assists across 36 appearances.
