Leeds United topped our rankings after an exhilarating 4-1 victory over Newcastle. Daniel Farke's side played with relentless intensity, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin proving to be a dominant force throughout. Meanwhile, Brighton continued their impressive form under Fabian Hurzeler, dismantling Coventry 5-0 and proving they are currently one of the most ruthless attacking outfits in the league.
Arsenal demonstrated a different side to their game, grinding out a 2-0 win against Sunderland. It was a gritty performance, proving that the champions possess the steel to win in difficult environments, bolstered by a crucial penalty save from David Raya. Manchester City also impressed by tactically adapting to a first-half red card, securing a 1-0 win over Manchester United through disciplined, controlled play.
At the other end of the spectrum, Tottenham Hotspur's goalless draw against Everton highlighted a concerning lack of confidence and imagination. The team's slow, lateral passing was a source of frustration for their supporters. Similarly, Coventry City's heavy defeat exposed defensive fragilities that will need urgent addressing if they are to compete at this level.
