Premier League predictions: Chris Sutton v Dorking Wanderers manager Marc White

BBC Sport football expert Chris Sutton is back with his weekly predictions for all 380 Premier League games. For the fourth round of the season, he takes on Marc White, the founder and manager of Dorking Wanderers, who gained fame through a viral docuseries.

The highlight of the weekend is Manchester City's trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United. Sutton, noting United's defensive fragility, predicts a 2-2 draw. In contrast, White believes the tactical stability under Enzo Maresca will lead to a 0-2 victory for the visitors.

Reflecting on the structure of English football, White highlighted the massive gap between the elite and the rest: "The Premier League is an elite financial institution, but you need to spend wisely. Getting relegated is a catastrophe from which some clubs never recover, given the divide between the Championship and League One."

Sutton also looks ahead to other key matches. He forecasts a narrow 2-1 win for Aston Villa over Nottingham Forest, a 1-1 draw between Bournemouth and Brentford, and a comfortable 3-0 victory for Chelsea against Hull City. Regarding Liverpool's encounter with Fulham, Sutton expects the Reds to triumph 2-1 despite Alvaro Arbeloa's efforts to improve the Cottagers' form.
