Polissya knocked out of Conference League by Copenhagen
Polissya Zhytomyr lost to Danish side FC Copenhagen in the return leg of the Conference League qualifiers, ending their European campaign.

Zhytomyr's Polissya have concluded their debut European campaign after a narrow defeat to FC Copenhagen in the second leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round. Following a spirited 3-3 draw in the opening fixture, the Ukrainian side was unable to overcome the Danish giants away from home.
The visitors showed early intent, forcing several corners within the opening ten minutes. However, the momentum shifted in the 25th minute when a foul by Maisuradze resulted in a penalty, coolly converted by Mohamed Elyounoussi to give the hosts the lead.
The second half began with a glimmer of hope for the guests as Copenhagen’s Junnosuke Suzuki was shown a straight red card. Despite enjoying a numerical advantage, Polissya struggled to break down the resilient home defense. Instead, Copenhagen executed a clinical counter-attack on the 61st minute, with Robert extending the lead to 2-0.
Ruslan Rotan’s side pushed for a late comeback, with Igor Krasnopir missing a golden opportunity in the 85th minute. Borys Krushynskyi eventually found the net in stoppage time following a deflection, but it proved too little, too late. The final whistle confirmed a 2-1 loss, officially ending Polissya's European quest.
