Oleksandr Protchenko reflects on Kudrivka's heavy defeat against Polissya

Kudrivka head coach Oleksandr Protchenko addressed his team's 1-5 defeat against Polissya in the Ukrainian Premier League. The manager admitted that an early red card significantly hampered their defensive setup.

Protchenko noted that the tactical plan involved a five-man defense to neutralize the opponent's build-up play through the center. However, the numerical disadvantage disrupted their strategy.

Addressing defensive lapses, the coach emphasized that the situation differed from previous matches because the team had to operate shorthanded against a side that moves the ball quickly. The players tried to follow the plan but struggled to close down spaces when Polissya executed precise through balls.
