In the 8th round of the 2026/27 Persha Liha season, Nyva Ternopil secured a convincing 3-1 away victory against Viktoriya. The match, held in Sumy, ended in favor of the visitors.
The Ternopil club took an early lead in the 10th minute. Maksym Pezhynskyi demonstrated individual skill before firing a shot into the top corner. By the 29th minute, the lead was doubled when Andriy Boryachuk capitalized on a moment inside the penalty area to find the bottom corner.
The hosts attempted a late comeback when Dmytro Hryshchenko scored in the 85th minute to narrow the gap. However, the victory was sealed just three minutes later as Pezhynskyi scored his second goal of the match, finalizing the score at 3-1.
