Nicole Anyomi signs for London City Lionesses

London City Lionesses have confirmed the signing of Germany forward Nicole Anyomi. The 26-year-old joins the club on a three-year contract following the expiration of her deal at German side Eintracht Frankfurt, where she recorded 60 goals in 130 appearances over five seasons.

Anyomi is looking forward to the physical demands of the Women's Super League. She expressed a strong desire to test her abilities in a new environment, noting that the club's ambition and project were key factors in her decision.

With 34 caps for Germany, Anyomi brings significant international experience to her new club. She was a member of the squad that reached the Euro 2022 final and helped the team secure a bronze medal at the 2024 Olympics. She revealed that she has already been gathering insights about the English league from her close friend, Shekiera Martinez, who recently joined Tottenham.

This signing follows other recent squad updates at London City, including a new contract for defender Poppy Pattinson.
