Neymar made his long-awaited return to the Brazil national team during the final match of the group stage at the 2026 World Cup. The 34-year-old forward entered the pitch as a 76th-minute substitute in the 3-0 victory over Scotland.
This appearance marked his first national team action since October 2023. Deployed in a central role, the all-time top scorer for the Seleçao played out the final minutes of the match, officially marking his fourth World Cup campaign.
Following the final whistle, Neymar shared an emotional moment with his family pitchside. He was seen embracing his partner, Bruna Biancardi, along with three of his four children: Mavie, Mel, and his eldest son, Davi Lucca.
"It is wonderful, it is very beautiful to experience all of this," said Neymar.
