Forward Mohamadou Kante, currently with the Shakhtar Donetsk youth setup, is likely to spend the upcoming season on loan. Reports suggest that the club's management does not intend to integrate the player into the first team immediately, preferring that he gains experience in a senior environment.
The Gambian striker has had a standout season in the Ukrainian U-19 championship, scoring 28 goals, which is a record for the competition. As part of their preparations, only three or four players from the U-19 squad are expected to join the first team for their training camp.
