Milan complete big-money signing of Diego Moreira
AC Milan have secured the transfer of the promising Strasbourg winger for a significant fee, beating out competition from RB Leipzig.

Italian giants AC Milan have continued their ambitious summer spending by securing the signature of 22-year-old Belgian winger Diego Moreira from Strasbourg. The deal is valued at 54 million euros, with an additional 11 million euros in "fully achievable" performance-related add-ons.
Milan successfully beat out competition from RB Leipzig to land the player. Although the German club had reportedly reached a preliminary agreement with the winger, they failed to strike a financial deal with the French side. The new signing has committed to a contract running until 2031 and will wear the number 22 jersey.
Moreira's career has seen a rapid ascent, having initially joined Strasbourg for 8.5 million euros following a stint with Chelsea, where he arrived as a free agent from Benfica in 2023. During his time in France, the Belgian international recorded seven goals and 16 assists across 76 appearances.
