Juventus are actively searching for a central midfielder to provide physical presence and stability in front of their defensive line. The Turin outfit is looking for a player who can either rotate with or partner Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram. Following news that Fofana has been listed by Milan for a potential departure, the midfielder's representatives reached out to Juventus to propose a move to Turin.
Meanwhile, AC Milan are looking to overhaul their attacking midfield setup. With uncertainty surrounding several players in that area, the club is prioritizing the signing of a left-footed player to add balance. Nico Gonzalez has emerged as an option; having returned from his loan at Atletico Madrid, the player has expressed his desire to leave Juventus. His representatives have offered him to Milan, and the Rossoneri have not closed the door on the possibility.
As the transfer window approaches its deadline, the prospect of a straight swap deal between the two clubs is gaining traction. While there remains a minor discrepancy in the valuation of the two players, the gap is not considered insurmountable. The deal remains an idea at this stage, but it could progress rapidly if both parties reach an agreement on the financials.
