Mikel Arteta holds direct talks with Vinicius Junior

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has taken a direct role in the club's pursuit of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior. Reports suggest the Spaniard has spoken personally with the Brazilian winger to outline a vision for his potential arrival at the Emirates Stadium.

Arteta reportedly explained how integral the forward would be to an Arsenal side aiming to establish itself as a dominant force in Europe.
