Marsoni Sambu eyed for a return to France by Le Mans
Le Mans is keeping tabs on Dender defender Marsoni Sambu, who is reportedly keen on a return to the French league this summer.

French club Le Mans is showing renewed interest in 30-year-old Dender defender Marsoni Sambu. Having previously played in France for SO Cholet, the Belgian-Angolan fullback is seen as a potential reinforcement for the club's backline following their promotion.
Sambu was already on the radar of Le Mans last summer, though the move did not materialize due to financial disagreements. The defender is currently under contract with his Belgian club until 2027, and Dender is reportedly prepared to part ways with him should a satisfactory offer arrive.
Despite interest from a Greek club that has already submitted a proposal, Sambu is said to favor a return to France at this stage of his career. He brings significant experience to the table, having made over 100 appearances in the Belgian top flight during his time in the Jupiler Pro League.
