French side Marseille is currently in advanced discussions to sign Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio on loan. The club is looking to bolster its defensive ranks with the experienced Italian.

The 29-year-old goalkeeper saw his standing at Juventus decline significantly over the past season, ultimately losing the trust of the club's hierarchy. His position became even more precarious after the Italian giants secured Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario on a loan deal.

With three years remaining on his contract, finding a permanent buyer has proven difficult for the Turin club. As a result, a loan move to France is viewed as a pragmatic solution for all involved. Several rounds of talks have already taken place between the two clubs, and the player has reportedly agreed to the move.

Last season, Di Gregorio made 37 appearances, conceding 36 goals and keeping 17 clean sheets.
