Marcelo Paz acknowledges Neo Química Arena pitch issues
Management at Neo Química Arena has announced an emergency plan to improve the pitch after criticism from Corinthians coach Fernando Diniz.

Marcelo Paz, the executive responsible for managing the Neo Química Arena, has admitted that the pitch condition at the stadium is failing to meet performance standards. This public acknowledgment comes following severe criticism from Corinthians head coach Fernando Diniz and supporters after the team's recent match against Athletico-PR.
Following the match, Diniz pointed to the poor state of the pitch as a primary cause for injuries sustained by his players, including Zakaria Labyad and Yuri Alberto. The coach labeled the current playing surface as the worst since the stadium's inauguration, citing safety risks for the athletes.
Stadium management has confirmed they are working closely with the maintenance contractor to resolve the issues. Paz announced that a task force will work over the next six days to ensure the pitch is in better condition for the upcoming home fixture against Internacional.
