Lyon signs Loïs Openda on loan from Juventus
The Belgian forward leaves the Italian club after a disappointing spell.

French side Lyon has officially announced the signing of Juventus forward Loïs Openda on a loan deal. The move costs the French club 3.5 million euros.
For the 26-year-old Belgian, this transfer offers a fresh start following a difficult period in Italy. Earlier this summer, the Turin club completed a mandatory permanent transfer for the player from RB Leipzig for 42.75 million euros, following a 3.25 million euro loan spell.
Openda's performances for the Bianconeri failed to meet expectations, as he managed only two goals in 34 appearances. Given the lack of impact, a loan move to Lyon became the most viable solution for the club to manage the expensive forward.
