Sporting forward Luis Suarez has reached a preliminary agreement on personal terms with Fenerbahce. According to Fabrizio Romano, the move is being championed by presidential candidate Hakan Safi.

Despite the agreement with the 28-year-old Colombian, the transfer is not yet finalized. The future of the deal rests entirely on the upcoming presidential election results at the Turkish club, as the new board will decide whether to proceed with the signing.
