Lucas Silva reaches historic milestone for Cruzeiro

Midfielder Lucas Silva has reached a significant milestone in his career, making his 345th appearance for Cruzeiro. The milestone was reached last Sunday when he came off the bench during the second half of the Brasileirão match against Mirassol.

This achievement cements his place as the 24th most-capped player in the club's history. Currently in his third stint with the Minas Gerais side, Silva has been a key figure since his days as an academy graduate.

The club also highlighted the presence of Lucas Romero in the top 50, who currently sits in 31st place with 297 games played for the team. The list was compiled by the club's marketing department after a comprehensive review of historical archives.

The all-time leader remains legendary goalkeeper Fabio, who made 976 appearances for the club, followed by Ze Carlos with 627 games.
