Louis Saha warns Michael Carrick over Manchester United's slow tactics
Former Manchester United star Louis Saha has warned manager Michael Carrick that his slow tactical approach is putting his job at risk following a historic collapse against Brighton.

Pressure is mounting on Michael Carrick at Manchester United following a disastrous week. The Red Devils suffered a historic 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford against Brighton, marking the first time in over 50 years that United have lost at home after leading by two goals. This compounded the frustration of a 1-0 defeat to Manchester City just days prior.
Former United striker Louis Saha believes the current crisis rests firmly with the management. He pointed to a lack of attacking patterns and urged Carrick to adapt his system.

A major concern for Saha is the lack of urgency in midfield. He noted that defensive midfielders are too comfortable playing safe, side-to-side passes, which fails to create clear-cut opportunities. He also highlighted that the team is failing to utilize the acceleration of Marcus Rashford to get behind opponents, resulting in a game that feels too slow.
With back-to-back defeats, the spotlight is now on Carrick to provide an immediate response. Failure to turn things around could see his position at the club under severe threat early in the campaign.
