London City Lionesses have completed the signing of 20-year-old Spanish youth international Daniela Arques from Sporting.

Women's Super League side London City Lionesses have confirmed the signing of 20-year-old Spanish youth international Daniela Arques. The transfer is subject to international clearance.
Arques joins on a three-year deal, moving from Portuguese club Sporting. She reunites with Spanish head coach Eder Maestre as part of London City's ambitious summer transfer window, which has already seen the arrival of high-profile names such as Alexia Putellas and Mapi Leon.

The midfielder arrives following a successful campaign in Portugal, where she made 32 appearances and established herself as a key figure. Her career path previously included spells at Athletic Club de Murcia, Alhama, and Levante in the Spanish top division.
Arques brings international experience to the squad, having been a member of the Spain U19s side that secured back-to-back European titles in 2024 and 2025, before progressing to the U20 set-up.
