Livyi Bereh thrash Metalurh to edge closer to UPL promotion

In the 29th round of the First League, Livyi Bereh cruised to a 4-0 victory over Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. The outcome was effectively decided before the break, with the Kyiv team netting all four goals in the first half.
Nazariy Vorobchak opened the scoring in the 35th minute, followed by a brace from Wendell (40th and 43rd minutes) and a strike by Vikentiy Voloshyn on the stroke of halftime.
The result sees Livyi Bereh move up to second place with 60 points, a position that guarantees direct promotion. Meanwhile, Chornomorets sits just one point behind with a game in hand.
The pressure is on the Odesa side, as they face league leaders Bukovyna in the next round, who are looking to finish the season undefeated. On the final matchday, Livyi Bereh will face Inhulets, while Chornomorets takes on Metalist.
