Liverpool has initiated preliminary talks with AC Milan regarding the potential transfer of central defender Fikayo Tomori. According to reports from James Wetland, strengthening the center of defense is a top priority for the Merseyside club this summer.
The 28-year-old Englishman is currently listed as one of the primary candidates for the role. At this stage, the clubs are only discussing a potential deal, and no official transfer bid has been submitted for the Milan defender.
The situation has also captured the interest of Newcastle, who are closely monitoring the player's status. In the previous campaign, the defender made 37 appearances across all competitions, contributing three assists.
According to Transfermarkt data, Tomori is valued at approximately 17 million euros.
