The coach also reflected on the difficulty of this World Cup, highlighting that physical exhaustion has leveled the playing field. According to Scaloni, even the tournament favorites have struggled to maintain their usual performance levels throughout the competition, as no team has yet reached a state of "total football."
Argentina and Egypt face off this Tuesday, July 7, in Atlanta. The winner will advance to the quarter-finals to play the victor of the Switzerland versus Colombia match.
