Borussia Mönchengladbach defender Nico Elvedi is a potential target for Leeds United as they look to bolster their squad. According to reports from journalist Florian Plettenberg, the 29-year-old Swiss international has already reached an agreement on personal terms with the English side, with a contract reportedly set to run until the summer of 2029.
The move would represent a significant acquisition for Leeds as they aim to reinforce their defensive options. Elvedi proved to be a consistent performer last season, featuring in 36 matches across all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists.
With personal terms settled, the focus now shifts to the clubs. Borussia Mönchengladbach are reportedly prepared to sanction the defender's departure, provided that the financial terms of the transfer offer meet their valuation.
