Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has shared his thoughts on the immense pressure that comes with being a high-profile young talent. The Spaniard explained that the public perception of his performances is skewed by the constant attention he receives.
"My bad game equals 400 bad games for any other person. I play a match at 9 out of 10, and people will say it was a 7," said Lamine Yamal.
The 19-year-old noted that expectations are so high that even his standard high-level displays can be perceived as underwhelming. Despite this, Yamal insists that he does not view the pressure as a negative factor. He maintains that he still enjoys the sport and remains focused on development, winning trophies, and staying true to his identity on the pitch.
