Kolos-2 secures Second League bronze after beating Polissya-2

On Wednesday, May 27, the third-place match of the Second League took place at the Cherkasy Arena, featuring Kolos-2 and Polissya-2. This was the first ever meeting between the two sides.

The first half was evenly contested, but the deadlock was broken in the 36th minute. Rostyslav Taranukha intercepted a pass and fired a shot into the right corner to put Kolos-2 ahead without closing in on the goalkeeper.

In the second half, Polissya-2 pressed for an equalizer. The crossbar saved Kolos-2 in the 80th minute, and the post denied them again in the 89th minute. Kolos-2 managed to hold on to their victory, securing the bronze medals for the 2025/26 season.
