Netherlands head coach Ronald Koeman has officially announced the 26-player squad that will represent the nation at the 2026 World Cup. While the roster features a strong selection from top European leagues, the team faces significant challenges due to recent injuries.

Fans will be disappointed by the absence of two key players. Midfielder Xavi Simons will miss the tournament due to a severe cruciate ligament tear, while center-back Matthijs de Ligt is ruled out as he undergoes rehabilitation following back surgery.

The Netherlands have been drawn into Group F for the tournament. In the group stage, Koeman’s side is set to compete against the national teams of Japan, Sweden, and Tunisia.

The final squad includes: goalkeepers Bart Verbruggen, Mark Flekken, Robin Roofs; defenders Virgil van Dijk, Denzel Dumfries, Nathan Ake, Jurrien Timber, Micky van de Ven, Jan Paul van Hecke, Jorrel Hato; midfielders Frenkie de Jong, Marten de Roon, Tijjani Reijnders, Teun Koopmeiners, Ryan Gravenberch, Mats Wieffer, Quinten Timber, Guus Til, Crysencio Summerville; forwards Memphis Depay, Wout Weghorst, Donyell Malen, Cody Gakpo, Noa Lang, Justin Kluivert, and Brian Brobbey.
