Karpaty Lviv have confirmed their pre-season schedule, with players set to return to training on June 22nd. The team is scheduled to depart for their final training camp in Slovenia on July 5th.
It is expected that the club's foreign players will join the squad in Slovenia. During the training camp, the team plans to play 6-7 friendly matches to test their fitness and tactics ahead of the new season.
Regarding transfers, the club is set to sign versatile player Roman Vantukh, whose contract with Zorya has expired. Negotiations are also ongoing with four other potential new signings. The situation regarding departures remains unclear as all current players are under contract, with more clarity expected in early June when the delegation for the camp is finalized.
The wider context is that the club is looking to build on their 9th-place finish in the last UPL season. The upcoming training camp will be vital for the coaching staff to integrate new arrivals and prepare for the challenges of the next campaign.
